History of Azerbaijan
Azerbaijan has a history of 10000 years back. It is one of those countries in which, Alexander the Great had conquered upon (330-320 BCE). Afterwards, the country was part of the Roman Empire. In the 7th century, the Arabs invaded bringing Islam and ruled for several centuries with their various caliphates. Also, in 10th-century Turkish tribes invaded and ruled it. And, the early 17th century the Ottoman and Russian ruled the country.
